I'm Dominic Messinger and along with my songwriting partner Cliff
Downs,
we have been busy forwarding to TPTB the hundreds of emails we've received
from you, the soapmusic fan, requesting original songs from the soaps.
I can see it now...Maxwell singing "BEYOND THE SUNSET" at the
MTV Awards
while Ben and Meg dance across the spotlit stage...
Cliff and I can no longer ignore the dedicated soapmusic fans who feel
so strongly about these songs and their impact on the characters and
stories that they have started there own websites and music polls. So
we've decided to take our own first step and start a website dedicated to
soapmusic
lovers everywhere.
My soapmusic career started on GENERAL HOSPITAL when Luke and
Laura got started, continued thru over 2000 episodes of SANTA BARBARA,
several
more years at DOOL, GUIDING LIGHT, ANOTHER WORLD, and SUNSET BEACH.
